Annick Menardo takes hold of Lancôme's Miracle to create Miracle So Magic!
The Lancôme house has always enjoyed telling us its finest stories through floral, precious and thoroughly feminine fragrances. For Lancôme, life was already a Trésor in 1990. Or perhaps it was also written as a magnificent Poème? To help us cross into the new millennium with its best wishes, the house gave us Miracle and then, of course, many years later, it would write to us that La Vie est belle...
However, with Miracle, Lancôme had already offered us lovely enchanted interludes, and the charming 2004 flanker, Miracle So Magic!, is no exception. Moreover, while the original composition was created by Harry Frémont and Alberto Morillas, Miracle So Magic! can also boast having been composed by a great French perfumer, Annick Menardo.
Annick Menardo, fond of bright, floral fragrances, created for Miracle So Magic! very green plant-based accords that punctuate the original composition with a touch of tonic, invigorating freshness. All the while not forgetting to add a pretty clover note, a four-leaf one of course, to bring luck to whoever wears this lovely Miracle So Magic!.
Composed as a fun and sexy version of Miracle, Miracle So Magic!, although very green, offers its own vision of life through rose-colored glasses, down to its bottle.
The fragrance Miracle So Magic! or the meeting between a demure flower and a wild flower
While the magnificent 2000 Miracle opened on notes of lychee and freesia punctuated by pink pepper, Miracle So Magic! has abandoned the opulent floral top accords to focus solely on green notes. Thus, a pretty violet flower meets the crisp, invigorating freshness of a clover leaf which, like its predecessor, is punctuated here and there by sharp pink pepper.
At the heart, the magnolias and peonies of Miracle are replaced in Miracle So Magic by narcissus notes that are both delicate and very green. Yet this pretty, slightly rebellious flower blends with the very demure dog rose to offer scents that are both powerful and always subtle.
Finally, the depths of Miracle So Magic, just as its predecessor did so brilliantly, carry us into a whirlwind of sensuality where vanilla and white musks form a cocoon of softness and totally addictive warmth.
