Météore

Météore is the men's fragrance that Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud composed in 2020 for Louis Vuitton, the sixth fragrance in the men's collection born in 2018. Mandarin and bergamot in the top notes, neroli and a trio of peppers in the heart, Java vetiver in the base; Wikiparfum classes it among the woody fragrances. Bottle by Marc Newson, 100 and 200 ml, refillable at the house's fountains.

Alavi (Persolaise) finds Météore cautious: citrus, spices, woods, in a predictable order, never lifting its eyes to the sky.

Persolaise: a men's fragrance too cautious

Dariush Alavi, in August 2020, ranks Météore among the Louis Vuitton men's fragrances that play it safe, fragrances he sees as complements to a bag more than creations with their own identity. Citrus, spices, woods parade through it in his view in a predictable order, never making one lift their eyes to the true celestial bodies.
