Daisy Eau So Fresh

Daisy Eau So Fresh is an eau de toilette for women launched by Marc Jacobs in 2011 and composed by Alberto Morillas, creator of the original Daisy. This fruity floral opens on pink grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves and pear, sets violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee and jasmine at its heart, and rests on musks, plum and cedar.

Robin (Now Smell This) finds Daisy Eau So Fresh fruitier, sweeter and lighter on flowers than Daisy; Tia Williams (Essence) makes it her favorite summer scent, sparkling, cheerful and quietly sensual.

What critics say

Now Smell This: a fruitier Daisy

Robin, on February 8, 2011, compares the newcomer with Daisy. She finds the opening a little less deep but fruitier and sweeter, close to a red-berry fruit punch, and notes that the fruitiness lasts longer as the perfume evolves.

The floral heart, already discreet in Daisy, seems even lighter to her: the perfume still evokes a sunny meadow of mixed flowers, with slightly less emphasis on the flowers. She notes that the variation targets a younger audience than the original.

Essence: the scent of the summer

Tia Williams, writing for Essence, picks it as her favorite in a season crowded with launches. She describes a blend of raspberry, rose, pear, musk and violet, sparkling, cheerful and quietly sensual, and finds the bottle adorable.
