Roses Vanille

Roses Vanille was created in 2011 at Mancera, as an eau de parfum composed by Pierre Montale. Its name brings together two materials from the composition, the rose of the heart tier and the vanilla of the base. The juice is offered in 60 and 120 milliliter bottles.

A burst of lemon

Lemon opens the composition on a clean freshness, marked by acidity and a tangy facet. As with most citrus fruits, its zest releases highly volatile molecules, perceived from the very first moments, which give the opening its vivacity.

Honey and wax rose

In the heart tier, the rose appears in a warm light, with nuances of honey and wax. These facets recall so-called honeyed roses, some of whose absolutes carry an almost waxy roundness, in contrast to green interpretations of the flower.

Cedar and vanilla

The base combines cedar, a dry wood with accents of pencil shavings and resin, with vanilla, sweet, spicy and warm. Cedarwood was once used to sheathe pencils, hence this evocation of a sharpened lead; the vanilla pod owes its sweetness to vanillin.

A floral family

Roses Vanille belongs to the floral family, carried by the rose of the heart tier. Florals are organized around a flower or a bouquet; here, the warm, honeyed rose rests on the cedar and vanilla of the base, whose warmth extends its waxy nuances.
