REPLICA Sailing Day

REPLICA Sailing Day arrived in 2017 in Maison Margiela’s REPLICA collection, as an eau de toilette signed by Violaine Collas. It replays a day at sea off Paros in 2001: an aquatic accord of Calone and aldehydes at the top, coriander, iris and rose at the center, red seaweed and ambergris at the base.

The apothecary bottle of the REPLICA line, marked with the fabric label of the house’s garments.

Sailing Day takes up the bottle of the REPLICA line, whose silhouette is inspired by apothecary jars. On its front, a fabric label echoes those that identify the pieces of the house’s REPLICA fashion collection.

Since 2022, according to the house, the one-hundred-milliliter and thirty-milliliter bottles have a removable cap and contain fifteen percent recycled glass. Two colorants, violet and blue, tint the juice.
