Le Parfum is the Eau de Parfum launched by Lolita Lempicka in 2021, a return of the original 1997 fragrance under its original name and apple-shaped bottle, signed by Annick Ménardo. The house describes a gourmand and sensual accord of licorice and violet, lifted by an anise note and wrapped in musk, without a hierarchy of tiers; Wikiparfum adds tonka bean, iris and praline. The fragrance is announced as vegan and certified One Voice.
An accord without tiers
The house does not publish a top, heart and base pyramid for Le Parfum. It describes a gourmand and sensual accord of licorice and violet, heightened by an anise note and wrapped in a cloud of musk, without arranging these raw materials in a temporal hierarchy.
The raw materials put forward
Licorice and violet form the core that the house puts forward, supported by anise, whose surprising character within the accord it emphasizes. Musk comes last, wrapping the whole in a powdery frame.
What the label declares
The label lists alpha-isomethyl ionone, coumarin, citral, limonene, hydroxycitronellal, linalool and benzyl benzoate. Coumarin joins the licorice and anise announced by the house for the gourmand facet of the accord.
A different reading of the notes
Wikiparfum places the composition in the woody family and proposes a distinct list, placing tonka bean, anise, iris, vanilla, licorice, musk, patchouli, praline and violet in the base, with no top or heart tier identified.
What is left out
Jasmine, cedar, labdanum and benzoin, long attributed to the accord, appear neither with the house nor with Wikiparfum.
