Lolita Lempicka is a house born from the hands of a woman actually named Josyane Maryse Pividal. She had always been fascinated by clothing. Fashion was a field that imposed itself on her from her earliest childhood. Indeed, Lolita Lempicka was born in Bordeaux in 1955, to a seamstress mother. As a little girl, Lolita Lempicka enjoyed creating clothes for her dolls. Likewise, as a teenager, she designed her own look herself. It was therefore logical that she turned toward fashion design studies. Once she had her diploma, it did not take her long to work with the greatest couture houses. Her style was quickly defined by its romanticism, its fluid and transparent fabrics, and its elongated cuts. Then, in 1983, at the age of 29, Lolita Lempicka decided to launch her first collection. Barely a year later, she opened a first boutique in the Marais district of Paris and staged a show in Tokyo, Japan. From there, one success followed another. It was not until 1997, however, that Lolita Lempicka turned her attention to her first fragrance.

Lolita Lempicka's launch into perfumery

The house's very first fragrance was simply named Lolita Lempicka. It was a fragrance meant for women, designed to evoke a return to childhood and carry them into a particularly enchanted world. It is still sold today and is instantly recognizable by its bottle shaped like an apple entwined with gold leaves. Its scent, meanwhile, is both floral and fruity. The fragrance Lolita Lempicka was such a success that it was extended, in 2000, into a men's version. Since then, numerous other Lolita Lempicka fragrances have come to life. Most of them have met with success. In 2006, Lolita Lempicka also launched the fragrance L, a composition of immense sensuality accented with touches of orange, cinnamon, and vanilla. The bottle drew its inspiration from a mermaid. This seductive fragrance was followed by more gourmand creations with the appearance of Fleur Défendue and Fleur de Corail.
