L’Homme Prada Water Splash, a singular new perfumed journey signed Prada

Since the beginnings of the duo of fragrances La Femme and L’Homme Prada, the beautiful house of Miuccia Prada has never stopped blending classic masculine and feminine codes to better captivate through its universal message. Indeed, there is not one Prada man and one Prada woman, there is a multitude of Prada men and women who blend and wrap themselves in the delights of a shared iris flower. Thus, a rare occurrence in perfumery, all the campaigns for L’Homme Prada, then for the even more sensual L’Homme Prada Intense, and L’Homme Prada L’Eau, are driven by Prada's absolute wish to have the fragrance carried by numerous faces and therefore numerous ambassadors.

First, I wanted to present the fragrances together, with the same concept, the same photographer (Steven Meisel), so that they would be truly interchangeable — I like that idea, attributed to Miuccia Prada.

In the image of these previous opuses, the beautiful summer flanker of 2019, L’Homme Prada Water Splash will therefore most certainly be represented across a multiple masculine universe, while once again sharing it with this Prada woman (Water Splash) with whom it has so much to share…

When the bottle of L’Homme Prada Water Splash turns exotic while remaining so “Prada”

Still dressed in the paper mimicking the famous Saffiano leather emblematic of the house of Prada, this L’Homme Prada Water Splash is decorated for the first time with a very colorful print evoking its exoticism.

Of course, these decors with opulent flowers are decors already created in haute couture by Prada; however, the bluish color of the L’Homme Prada Water Splash juice is meant to evoke the color of the sea, of idyllic vacations by an ocean lit with light.

With this new 2019 duo of fragrances L’Homme Prada Water Splash and La Femme Prada Water Splash, Daniela Andrier, the house perfumer of Prada, wanted to recreate the soothing and romantic atmosphere of a vacation in exotic lands while preserving the complementarities and contrasts that made the strength of the whole L’Homme Prada range in particular.

L’Homme Prada Water Splash opens once again on a splendid and opulent neroli flower, warmed if needed by a touch of spicy cardamom, while mandarin leaf brings its green freshness to the whole, surprising us right from the opening of this L’Homme Prada Water Splash. At the heart, the iris remains while ginger comes to chill it with its nervous force. Finally, amber and sandalwood turn sensual and scorching, while cedar, once again, turns sharp and cold.
