L'Homme Le Parfum

L'Homme Le Parfum: The new fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent. Some fragrances are so famous that presenting them is almost unnecessary. Such is the case with L'Homme by Yves Saint-Laurent. Since its creation in 2006, this iconic juice has never stopped generating conversation.

The very first version of L'Homme by Yves Saint-Laurent was born in 2006. Placed under the sign of elegance, this fragrance is in perfect harmony with the house's men's ready-to-wear line. However, in 2020, Yves Saint-Laurent decided to set the bar even higher, crafting a fragrance more refined and sophisticated than ever. This is how L'Homme Le Parfum was born. Composed by Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Juliette Karagueuzoglou, this juice is particularly woody, as if to highlight the natural virility of men, linking it to other, more floral and refreshing ingredients. So, what about the bottle of this new edition of L'Homme? Certain details do not lie: it clearly belongs to the same family as its predecessors, while being enriched with a few new elements.

L'Homme Le Parfum, striking similarities with its predecessors

L'Homme Le Parfum undeniably belongs to the Yves Saint-Laurent collection, and this is noticeable from the very sight of its bottle. Indeed, its lines carry us into the same world as before. Its bottle is immediately recognizable and imposes its striking stature. Let us start with its base. As always, it forms a thick glass cylinder, with a solid base and a substantial weight, a guarantee of its full refinement. While its rounded shape echoes a certain softness, the sturdiness of its walls, on the other hand, depicts the portrait of a strong and reliable man. Moreover, this imposing side is clearly echoed at the level of its cap. Hexagonal in shape, it is particularly massive. The shape of this container remains identical in every way to that of its predecessors. Soberly streamlined, the bottle of L'Homme Le Parfum is a timeless piece, in which every man can easily recognize himself.

The different masculine colors present on the bottle of L'Homme Le Parfum

While the first edition of L'Homme relied rather on transparency and clarity, L'Homme Le Parfum darkens and reveals to us the full beauty of a blue-colored juice. Lighter at its base, it darkens toward its top. In fact, through this visual, the house Yves Saint-Laurent wanted to give the impression that a spot of ink had diluted into its bottle. Blue, for its part, refers to one of the most universal colors there are. It recalls the beauty of water, sky or horizon, natural elements present for every man, wherever he may be on the planet. The name of this fragrance, L'Homme, as well as that of the house, are written in gray letters on its walls. Finally, the whole is topped with a chrome metal cap, with a highly reflective effect. Elegant and contemporary, this cap clearly contrasts with the base of this fragrance. It asserts its modernity and immediate charisma. Although the base of this bottle and its top are very different, Yves Saint-Laurent manages to achieve a perfect harmony, for a bottle ideally designed to make it easy to hold.
