Jean Paul Gaultier presents its masculine fragrance Le Beau. Jean-Paul Gaultier is one of the most celebrated perfumers in the world. He has an extensive catalog of different fragrances to his name.
In 1995, Jean-Paul Gaultier gave birth to a men's fragrance named Le Mâle. Considered a true legend of perfumery, it continues to win devotees across the globe, despite its 25 years of existence. To mark a genuine return to this major fragrance and once again honor one of its greatest juices, Jean-Paul Gaultier decided, in 2019, to design its worthy successor: Le Beau. Still aromatic, it is a fragrance based on coconut, with a more exotic intensity and an equally devastating charm. But what about its bottle?
A glass torso and a tin can, inseparable figures of Jean-Paul Gaultier
Le Beau by Jean-Paul Gaultier does not hide its belonging to the designer's great olfactory family. Indeed, its visual very clearly draws inspiration from that of the fragrance Le Mâle, born more than two decades earlier. However, for this edition, Jean-Paul Gaultier decided to modernize its visual. As usual, and in a bold, creative register, Le Beau by Jean-Paul Gaultier is presented in packaging shaped like a tin can. The idea is clever and has become a great Jean-Paul Gaultier classic. The designer therefore decided to preserve it. Inside, it still conceals a bottle shaped like a glass torso. Indeed, this was already the case for the fragrance Le Mâle. Undeniably, this new juice thus follows closely in its predecessor's footsteps...
The new elements of Jean-Paul Gaultier's bottle
While these elements remain unchanged, they are paired with a few more innovative details. First of all, from a general standpoint, the shape of Jean-Paul Gaultier's bottle is not exactly the same. Indeed, the torso of the men's fragrance Le Beau is more defined and athletic than that of Le Mâle. Its contours are sharper and less rounded. Although he has aged, Jean-Paul Gaultier's man seems to have worked on his musculature. In addition, his emblematic sailor shirt has disappeared. To cover himself, the torso of Le Beau by Jean-Paul Gaultier now has just a small golden vine leaf to conceal his private parts. This is matched to its golden spray nozzle, for a more luxurious and infinitely contemporary result.
The color blue, a universal attribute of masculinity
As always, for its visual, Jean-Paul Gaultier has settled on the color blue. Indeed, this shade is a universal attribute of masculinity. Associated with men from their earliest childhood, it is also a source of serenity and calm around the world, evoking on its own the horizon, the blue of the sky, or that of the sea. This emerald blue also remains the same as on Le Mâle. The only small exception: its surface is more polished than before, giving it greater clarity. This only heightens its charm and refinement. Between its imposing stature, its nudity, its defined muscles, and its innate sense of chic, this men's fragrance decidedly has many assets to seduce us!
