Khamrah Qahwa is a unisex eau de parfum from Lattafa, placed by the house in the Khamrah line and devoted to coffee, qahwa in Arabic. Cinnamon, cardamom and ginger open onto a heart of praline, candied fruits and white flowers, over a base of vanilla, coffee, tonka bean, benzoin and musk.
The house publishes a three-tier pyramid: cinnamon, cardamom and ginger at the top; praline, candied fruits and white flowers at the heart; vanilla, coffee, tonka bean, benzoin and musk at the base.
Opening spices
Cinnamon brings a warm, sweet bark, cardamom a spiciness shot through with freshness, ginger a lively warmth with a citrus edge. These three spices open the fragrance on a warmth that the heart and base draw toward gourmand territory.
A praline heart
Praline evokes cooked sugar and toasted almond and hazelnut. Candied fruits add a confectionery sweetness, and white flowers a more powdery floral note that lightens the sugary density of this tier.
A base of coffee and resins
Coffee, round and roasted, gives the fragrance its name and rests on vanilla and tonka bean, with almond and caramel nuances. Benzoin, a balsamic resin, extends this vanilla vein, and musk wraps the whole in a soft warmth.
What the label declares
The ingredient list declared for the European market names, after alcohol, fragrance and water, eleven components subject to declaration: linalool, limonene, hydroxycitronellal, citral, coumarin, geraniol, benzyl benzoate, eugenol, cinnamal, cinnamyl alcohol and isoeugenol.
