Beneath a nearly opaque purple juice, critics smell a dark, jammy rose that turns toward violet, metal, and musk. It belongs to the Collection noire.

La Fille de Berlin comes in the Collection noire bottle, which Serge Lutens wants minimalist, straight, angular, and uncompromising, in its creator’s image. The house speaks of a sobriety that reads as a manifesto, enhancing fragrances whose colors are as nuanced as precious stones.
The glass reveals a dense, nearly opaque purple juice, which Persolaise likens to a blackcurrant cordial and whose color Robin of Now Smell This finds startlingly vivid. Three colorants tint it: a red, a yellow, and a violet.
The house offers hand engraving and makes the bottle refillable: a 150 ml refill in recycled aluminum serves the 50 and 100 ml bottles. A limited edition has also dressed it in a different bottle.
