Odes and audacious contradictions for a radiant La Femme Prada Intense
Daniela Roche Andrier has exercised the multiplicity of her creative talents in perfumery for the house of Prada for a good many years, to such an extent that, with the 28 fragrances she has signed for the house, she has become its unofficial nose, as she likes to say. Obvious affinities have grown intense between the perfume creator and the wonderful personality of the designer Miuccia Prada, to such an extent that Daniela Roche Andrier considers herself the translator, in scent, of Prada's colors.
With La Femme Prada, the nose who so loves exotic flowers offered Miuccia Prada and all women her colorful and contrasted vision of femininity. A femininity that she deliberately did not seek to exaggerate—on the contrary, she even balanced it with raw materials that are typically masculine, such as Vetiver, masculine by nature.
For La Femme Prada Intense, Daniela Roche Andrier played on this same ambivalence by composing a very sensual and very opulent fragrance while adding a very present patchouli, and above all an amber overdose, much more masculine than feminine. Conversely, the perfumer clearly intensified the iris notes, typically feminine, in L'Homme Prada Intense.

Deliberately oriental and as fiery as one could wish, La Femme Prada Intense draws on the raw materials of its original fragrance La Femme Prada to magnify and intensify them to the extreme. Yet very little is known about its manufacturing secrets or even its composition; nevertheless, the only three ingredients that Prada has agreed to reveal already say a great deal about the voluptuousness of its accords.
La Femme Prada already opened on very original top notes of Frangipani flower and Ylang-ylang. La Femme Prada Intense goes even further and dares to display top notes of a powerful and mysterious Tuberose, letting its honeyed notes flow down to the sun-kissed and exotic heart of Ylang-ylang. Finally, the gourmand vanilla of the original fragrance has given way to a Patchouli that is earthier and warmer than ever, lending an almost virile power in contrast with such feminine voluptuousness.
