La Favorite is released in 2026 by Jean Paul Gaultier, carried by the floral richness of Queen of the night and the intense floral character of Sambac jasmine. Amélie Jacquin and Quentin Bisch place the caramel of Benzoin at the heart, and the sensuality of White musks at the base.
Queen of the night holds the top: floral richness, a green facet, an aquatic note. Sambac jasmine, intense and creamy floral, accompanies it; Rose blends honey and freshness into it, a warm register set against the aquatic note.
Three raw materials share the heart. Benzoin carries the caramel and toasted almond, Ylang-ylang the powdery and spicy facets, Cedar the wood and resin. The roasted coffee of the Benzoin thus sits alongside the smoke of the Cedar.
Vanilla and White musks share the same sensuality at the base, the former sweet and warm, the latter coppery with their animalic note. Tonka bean joins them, powdery, with its dry hay and almond.
