La Belle

Feminine fragrance La Belle Jean Paul Gaultier The perfumery division of Jean-Paul Gaultier was acquired by the Spanish group PUIG in 2016.

Inspired by Jean-Paul Gaultier's very first feminine fragrance, named Le Classique, a new juice appeared in 2019. This time, it is called La Belle and plays in a more provocative and seductive register. On screen, it takes us to a paradisiacal territory, resembling a true Garden of Eden. La Belle appears there as a true forbidden fruit, one that seems almost impossible to resist. In terms of scent, this is a vanilla-based, very warm olfactory composition, ideally crafted to awaken the full gourmand character of women. But what about its bottle? Once again, Jean-Paul Gaultier draws inspiration from the female bust. However, La Belle has its own personality and differs from its predecessor in many respects.

La Belle, a glass bust, a modern evocation of Le Classique by Jean-Paul Gaultier

Remember: in 1993, Le Classique by Jean-Paul Gaultier came in a surprising bottle... That of a female bust. Indeed, it was inspired by the mannequins used by seamstresses. It was simply dressed in a beige corset and evoked, on its own, the full power of attraction of femininity. Now, it is precisely this element that we find again in the new bottle of La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Indeed, it still takes the shape of a female bust, cut off at the thighs. However, it is quite different from its predecessor. Indeed, its shapes are not exactly the same, and it seems more sultry than ever. As proof, its waist is more slender, its hips more pronounced, and its bust more voluptuous. Undeniably, this is a glamorous and tempting silhouette. Likewise, as usual, and like many of Jean-Paul Gaultier's fragrances, La Belle comes in packaging shaped like a tin can. More than ever, Jean-Paul Gaultier defies established codes and displays his playfulness in his fragrance!

The new red hue of La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier

Unlike Le Classique by Jean-Paul Gaultier, La Belle abandons beige or ecru in favor of a much bolder and more provocative color: red. Naturally, this color was not chosen at random either. Indeed, red is a symbol of passion, the forbidden, and danger. Now, this is precisely what this women's fragrance represents. Like the forbidden fruit, it draws desire, and no one seems able to resist its attraction!

The imposing necklace of La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier

Finally, note that the woman who wears this fragrance is also very elegant. Do not be fooled by its impertinence and exuberance, it also conceals a very chic facet. This is also noticeable on its bottle. To dress its bottle, Jean-Paul Gaultier designed a sumptuous necklace for it. Entirely gold, it displays an impressive volume. It is made up of a multitude of roses, as if to represent the central ingredient of this fragrance: May rose. The whole is topped with a small matching spray cap, also gold. Very radiant, this fragrance does not go unnoticed!
