H24 the new Eau de Toilette for men signed Hermès. The Terre d’Hermès fragrance is a true legend of masculine perfumery, portraying a man in perfect harmony with nature. This time, in 2021, Hermès offers another masculine creation. However, on this occasion, the man in question is more attuned to his era and his time.
To celebrate the start of 2021, the Hermès house decided to present us with a brand-new masculine fragrance named H24. A tribute to modern masculinity, it references today's active men. Also inspired by the history of Hermès, it unfolds a fresh, metallic scent, like that of an iron's soleplate in contact with damp fabric, further rounded out by sage, narcissus and rosewood. As for the bottle, H24 is also resolutely contemporary. Crafted by excellent designers, it is the result of highly accomplished craftsmanship.
H24, a modern, streamlined visual
H24 comes in a very streamlined bottle, free of any excess. With it, no flourishes are present. H24 is revealed in a translucent green container, of which only the base is slightly tinted. While Terre d’Hermès relied on the color orange, here it is a matter of pale green. Thus, H24 immediately sets the scene and suggests that this is a very green, revitalizing fragrance. Its name, meanwhile, is engraved in relief on the front face, while the whole is topped with a cylindrical cap in shimmering metal.
When the Hermès H gives rise to a diamond shape
Recall that, until now, the Hermès house shone worldwide with its famous H bottle, forming a rectangle and shaping an H at its base. This time, this container seems to have undergone a slight twist, so that the rectangle transforms into a diamond shape. In this way, it preserves all its stateliness, while appearing more supple, as if in motion. Thus, its visual echoes the message it carries. H24 is fully dedicated to the lively, energetic man, who never stops and who keeps moving and evolving.
A bottle crafted by the Pochet du Courval house
The bottle of the H24 masculine fragrance owes its existence to designer Philippe Mouquet, who chose to have this glass case crafted by one of the most prestigious French houses: the celebrated Pochet du Courval glassworks. As a reminder, this house was founded in 1623. Its first perfume bottles, meanwhile, date back to 1853. It was during this period that Pochet du Courval crafted the prestigious case for Guerlain's Eau de Cologne Impériale, intended for Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III. Here, it is precisely all this technical expertise that is put to work to craft this container. Through the combination of innovation and expertise, the Pochet du Courval group gives shape and substance to its clients' finest packaging dreams.
Hermès's commitment to protecting the planet
Finally, it should be noted that the H24 bottle is contained in an environmentally friendly cardboard case. It is made of recycled and recyclable paper. Additionally, it is printed only on its front, in order to limit ink use and its impact on the planet.
