Composition

Clove and honey

The opening combines clove, a spice evocative of mulled wine and gingerbread, with honey, whose sweet warmth retains a fruity nuance. Dried clove buds owe their pungent smell to eugenol, which they contain in abundance.

Sesame, vanilla, oud

The heart tier brings together sesame, with its exotic hazelnut-like accents heightened by spices, vanilla, sweet and warm with a spicy edge, and oud, a resinous wood drawn from agarwood, with hints of incense and animalic facets.

Tonka and sandalwood

The base rests on tonka bean, toasted, between almond and caramel, rich in coumarin, and on sandalwood, a velvety, warm wood valued for its creamy softness in amber accords.

Oriental family

Honey, vanilla and tonka bean give the accord the sweet roundness that defines orientals; clove and sesame add spice, while oud and sandalwood provide the woody, resinous depth characteristic of this family.
