Girls Can Do Anything

Girls Can Do Anything, the fragrance for women. The fashion house Zadig Voltaire, born in 1997, quickly carved out a place of choice for itself in the world of fashion with rock and chic creations, offbeat just enough to be original while remaining definitively on trend.

Girls Can Do Anything, the new feminine fougère by Zadig & Voltaire

The house of Zadig & Voltaire is known for its relaxed yet elegant creations, aimed at a young, urban and trend-conscious audience. For some years now, its clothing has been accompanied by fragrances, always avant-garde and unafraid to defy established codes. Recently, Zadig & Voltaire introduced a brand new manifesto of freedom named Girls Can Do Anything, aimed at adventurous, athletic and daring women. Presented in a fairly minimalist bottle, this juice proves highly original in terms of scent.

Zadig & Voltaire chooses a fougère

Girls Can Do Anything is an unconventional and cheeky fragrance that does not hesitate to go against the grain of trends. It thus reclaims the fougère scent, an olfactory category usually reserved for men. As a bit of background, the name fougère comes from the fragrance Fougère Royale by Houbigant and refers to all fragrances built along a precise pattern: a lavender top, a floral heart of geranium, and a base of coumarin and oakmoss. This scent evokes that of a typically masculine hygiene product or shaving foam. Yet with Girls Can Do Anything, Zadig & Voltaire did not hesitate to turn it into a distinctly feminine creation.

The other ingredients of Girls Can Do Anything

To showcase this fragrance, the house of Zadig & Voltaire chose to build on a very fruity opening. Girls Can Do Anything thus pairs the green, juicy breath of pear with that of bergamot. This citrus fruit, derived from the lemon tree and the bitter orange tree, lends it a bittersweet, tangy quality. Then orange blossom comes into play and illuminates the whole with its sun-kissed, Mediterranean aura. Girls Can Do Anything contains a creamier heart. Tonka bean reveals the image of a tender, delicate femininity. What's more, vanilla only heightens this effect. Warm and syrupy, it opens the path to seduction. Girls Can Do Anything continues with an animalic breath of musk. Finally, this fragrance closes with the presence of ambroxan, a velvety molecule renowned for its longevity. Ultimately, Girls Can Do Anything evokes the scent of skin against skin.

A creation by Quentin Bisch

To craft this fragrance, Zadig & Voltaire called on perfumer Quentin Bisch. Gifted with an excellent olfactory memory, he has held a genuine passion for perfumery since the age of barely 11. After studying at the most prestigious schools in the field, he has already worked for the greatest luxury brands. Quentin Bisch is well versed in masculine essences synonymous with freedom, as also demonstrated by the fragrances Nomade by Chloé and Angel Muse by Thierry Mugler.
