Fusion d'Issey Extrême, a particularly contrasted breath
Fusion d'Issey Extrême by Issey Miyake evokes on its own all the elements of our planet, whether air, water, earth or fire. This is felt in its scent, playing on a chiaroscuro effect from the beginning to the end of its sillage. Nathalie Lorson, master perfumer in charge of its creation, first chose to combine cardamom with bergamot. What is more, to create the spicy freshness sensation of Fusion d'Issey Extrême, this scent artist chose to use a cardamom upcycling process. In this way, the quality obtained is even higher and the intensity reaches new heights. Then, the heart of Fusion d'Issey Extrême pairs the spicy freshness of peppermint with a more mineral accord. Coconut wraps everything in exoticism, while lavender gives it a more floral and aromatic breath. Finally, little by little, Fusion d'Issey Extrême asserts its woody, warm virility, in a final breath of sandalwood and patchouli.
Highly visible contrasts
To preserve a perfect harmony between the scent of his fragrance and its visual, Issey Miyake chose to present it in a highly contrasted bottle. Fusion d'Issey Extrême comes in a transparent, bluish glass case with rounded shapes. Yet the whole is topped with an opaque black cap, featuring sharp angles. The whole is sculpted like obsidian, which gives it a precious look, while preserving raw strength. Finally, a final orange touch is added to this design, revealing the energy and untamed fervor of this masculine composition.
