Perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu was drawn to the Kadota fig for the mystery of its color, its floral and fleshy rawness, and its seasonality. The composition opens on a fig leaf accord, violet leaf absolute, galbanum, green bergamot, mandarin essence and pink pepper. The heart centers on an exclusive Kadota fig accord with a subtly salty facet, accompanied by ylang-ylang absolute.
The base of Figue Érotique pairs a muscovado accord evoking brown sugar with vetiver, patchouli and benzoin, giving the composition a warm, earthy foundation. The dark, jewel-toned glass bottle evokes the inside of a ripe fig, with pale violet accents that underscore the fragrance's visual identity.
