Soleil Neige

Tom Ford launched Soleil Neige in 2019 in his Private Blend collection. The fragrance extends the Soleil series begun by Soleil Blanc and offers its winter face: a white bottle, an idea of escape, but a light that leaves the beach for the mountains.

From Courchevel to Megève in the Alps

The house places its inspiration in an endless vacation in the French Alps, from Courchevel to Megève, where winter rays are reflected in a soothing atmosphere. Tom Ford sums up the idea in one sentence: “Soleil Neige is the bright side of Soleil.”

At launch, the house announced bergamot and carrot seed in the opening, a bouquet of pale petals, ivory and rose, and a base of cistus labdanum, musk, benzoin, and creamy vanilla. The house names no perfumer, neither at launch nor since.

The 2024 Parfum

In the fall of 2024, Tom Ford released Soleil Neige as a Parfum, a more concentrated version presented alongside a limited-edition collection of makeup and body oils. V Magazine noted more intense bergamot and mandarin and an added orange flower absolute.

The move to the Signature line

The eau de parfum has since left the Private Blend collection: it is now sold in Tom Ford’s Signature line, alongside Ombré Leather and Noir Extreme, in 10, 30, 50, and 100 ml. The Japanese press announced its release in Japan for February 20, 2026.

The list of notes changed with it. The house no longer mentions carrot seed, Karmaflor, Turkish rose, or vanilla; it announces a bergamot integrale, orange blossom, a jasmine grandiflorum concrete, musks, a benzoin resinoid, and cistus labdanum.

The current messaging speaks of a ray of solar light and a breath of winter air, of the thrill of a day on the slopes melting into the warmth of après-ski. The house now classifies the fragrance among its citrus scents and announces it in four words: citrus, white flowers, amber, and musk.
