Eau Néroli Ambrée: Narciso Rodriguez’s new sun-kissed fragrance. A poet among perfumers, Narciso Rodriguez is unlike any other designer. While his couture collections were already celebrated worldwide, he decided to launch a first feminine essence, in 2003.
Narciso Rodriguez is a designer with a unique universe. A renowned couturier, he has always given a very large place to sensuality and femininity. A romantic at heart, he has drawn inspiration many times from the women he knew, making them his main source of creation. Thoroughly romantic, all of Narciso Rodriguez's fragrances have a very strong universal power. They evoke an emotion for each of us and make the heart race with a single breath. The new Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée from 2021 is no exception to the rule. Floral and sun-kissed, it plunges us into an environment bathed in light. Here is our review of this fragrance.

A timeless, clean-lined bottle
Let's begin with the discovery of the Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée bottle. Indeed, it leaves us with a feeling of déjà vu… And for good reason! It closely resembles the previous glass bottles of Narciso Ambrée. It keeps its shape, but also its orange hue. This gives it a vitamin-packed power and visual energy. What's more, it also evokes the look of skin delightfully tanned by the sun. It is therefore in perfect harmony with the message carried by this fragrance. Unlike its predecessor, Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée has a transparent cap and frosted glass. Of course, these two choices are not insignificant. The intent here is to recall all the freshness and clarity of this composition.
Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée preserves the sun-kissed DNA of its predecessor
If the Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée bottle is very close to that of Narciso Ambrée, it is simply because these two essences also share many similarities in terms of composition. First of all, frangipani flower is present in both of their formulas. In the top notes of Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée, ylang-ylang has disappeared, in favor of neroli. This choice stems from the desire to bring more luminosity and freshness to the whole. The heart of the two fragrances, meanwhile, is fairly identical. It consists of amber and musk. Finally, cedarwood and cashmeran are essential elements of both essences. In Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée, vanilla has disappeared, which gives it a drier persistence and a rawer depth.
The myth of Narcissus as a source of inspiration
Through this fragrance, as its name suggests, Narciso sought to evoke the myth of Narcissus, and by extension, the power of seduction and the mysteries of attraction. Narciso is an uncommon name, not without evoking the Narcissus of mythology, said Narciso Rodriguez. This resolutely romantic myth is an endless source of narrative inspiration. As proof, it inspires a new creation and keeps stealing hearts. With Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée, the emphasis is placed on the natural aura of women and the radiance of beauty.
