Ane Ayo signs an original and refreshing composition
To design this highly creative and almost dreamlike olfactory landscape, Issey Miyake called on the talented Ane Ayo. Although she was already behind the previous A Drop d'Issey, she now carries out a genuine transformation of its original scent. Indeed, with A Drop d'Issey from 2021, it was a very sun-kissed lilac. Now, with A Drop d'Issey Fraîche, lilac is still present. However, it is immersed in a rain accord, which gives it greater freshness. To achieve this, the aquatic scent blends with a floral bouquet, while resting on a deeper, woodier base of sandalwood and cedar.

With a single breath, A Drop d'Issey Fraîche manages to evoke all the beauty and richness of nature. Through it, Issey Miyake also strives to preserve it. The creator placed deep importance on using only raw materials sourced from sustainable or recycled cultivation. The scent of its lilac, meanwhile, was recreated in the laboratory using green chemistry. Note that this is also a completely vegan perfume. In other words, it contains absolutely no product of animal origin. Its bottle and cardboard packaging are also designed with the utmost respect for the planet, using recycled materials.
