It is the talented perfumer Sonia Constant who was chosen by the Valentino house to conceive Donna Noir Absolu. She is also the one who created Donna. Although Sonia Constant graduated from the perfumery school ISIPCA, she was influenced by great perfumers such as Dominique Ropion, Olivier Pescheux and Christine Nagel. Sonia Constant loves to travel and especially loves working with flowers. Donna Noir Absolu, an impertinent rose from Valentino fragrances
Donna Noir Absolu is not lacking in character and opens with pepper notes, which is fairly rare. Then, the heart is composed of an overdose of roses, paired with prune and liqueur, thus lending a dose of boldness to the composition. Rose is the most widely used flower in perfumery. Two species of roses are used, namely Centifolia rose (or rose de mai) and Damascena rose. The Greeks and the Hebrews had the custom of laying roses for wedding ceremonies.
