Chloé Eau de Parfum Naturelle, a 100% vegan fragrance. It was in 1952 that Gaby Aghion founded the Chloé house. Since then, the house has been guided by a spirit of freedom and unwavering poetry. Fully devoted to women, Chloé has carved out a prime place for itself in the world of fashion and then in that of perfumery.
Since 1952, the Chloé house has been a byword for humanity, openness and freedom. Today, in 2021, the house goes further still and focuses more closely on its social impact. It also strives to act in favor of the environment and to preserve resources. Clearly riding the current organic trend, Chloé invites us to discover its vegan fragrance: the Eau de Parfum Naturelle. Presented as a new interpretation of the iconic Chloé Signature, created in 2008, it is a more responsible essence, yet just as intoxicating. Here is our review.

What is meant by a vegan composition?
Chloé's Eau de Parfum Naturelle is a fragrance created by perfumer Michel Almairac, who had already composed the previous Chloé Signature. Here, he preserves the iconic rose scent of the Chloé house while incorporating a more natural dimension into its formula. As the house states, this is a creation made from ingredients that are 100% of NATURAL ORIGIN. However, this formulation should not be confused with natural ingredients. In other words, while this nuance may go unnoticed, it means the fragrance does not contain only natural materials, and that some of its scents are obtained through a synthesis process. In this case, Chloé states that the chemical processes used for this fragrance are made up of more than 50% renewable carbon, which is a real step forward. Likewise, most of the ingredients contained in this fragrance come from responsible crops. Chloé's Eau de Parfum Naturelle brings together very high-quality raw materials and contains no filters or artificial colorants.
The new, more plant-based and eco-friendly bottle of Chloé's Eau de Parfum Naturelle
As for the bottle, the Chloé house has also made real efforts. It retains its original shape, designed by Patrick Veillet. Its pleated glass draws on a pattern adorning the sleeve of a famous Chloé blouse, giving it a very delicate touch. This contrasts with the geometric silhouette of the bottle. Likewise, the oval cap of the Eau de Parfum Naturelle softens its rigorous lines. This pleated glass has been entirely redesigned here, in a more responsible way. It now contains only 25% recycled glass and its cardboard packaging is made from 40% recycled paper. The attention to detail goes even further: down to its small polyester bow, which is also recycled. Finally, to echo its more plant-based, organic character, the Eau de Parfum Naturelle is now tinted with a light green ribbon, in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature.
Undeniably, the Eau de Parfum Naturelle is aimed at a woman in tune with her environment. Because nature is precious, Chloé does everything it can to preserve it as sustainably as possible.
