Star Confidence is an eau de parfum from Charlotte Tilbury, launched in 2025 in its Fragrance Collection of Emotions and composed by Juliette Karagueuzoglou of IFF. A warm floral, it pairs a blackcurrant absolute with a heart of Sambac jasmine, jasmine accord and davana oil, and a base of patchouli and oakmoss absolute.

Charlotte Tilbury breaks Star Confidence down into three stages: blackcurrant absolute at the top; Sambac jasmine absolute, a jasmine accord and davana oil at the heart; natural patchouli oil and oakmoss absolute at the base.

The house classes it among the warm florals. It describes a juicy, energizing blackcurrant, a sophisticated jasmine made fresher by the accord and more sensual by the davana, over a warm, velvety base.

What the label declares

Behind the alcohol, fragrance and water, the house’s list first names an ultraviolet filter, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, a stabilizer and several synthetic materials: tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a woody one, hexamethylindanopyran, a musk, benzyl salicylate and vanillin.

It also names linalool, hexyl cinnamal, alpha-isomethyl ionone, hydroxycitronellal, citronellol, geraniol, cinnamyl alcohol, isoeugenol, limonene and benzyl alcohol, the oils of Virginia cedar and patchouli, oakmoss extract and rose ketones.

What the list adds

Patchouli oil and oakmoss extract confirm the declared base. The list also reveals a foundation the house does not name: a woody material, a musk, vanillin and a Virginia cedar oil. Neither the blackcurrant, nor the jasmine, nor the davana appears under its name.
