The Hugo Boss house, originally in the 1920s a manufacturer of work clothes and military uniforms, became a major haute couture label in the 1970s. Then, to complete elegant Hugo Boss suits, the house's first fragrance was born in 1982.

Later, the elegant and fresh Hugo Signature would bring Hugo Boss, in 1995, an international renown that has never faded, thanks to fragrances such as the sensual and virile Boss The Scent, the beautiful flankers of Hugo Signature, or the singular and so modern Boss Bottled.

Boss Bottled was composed by Annick Menardo in 1998 to draw closer to the man dressed in Hugo Boss, who had sometimes been somewhat overlooked in previous fragrances. Boss Bottled thus aims to be the perfect fragrant representation of a Hugo Boss man, between modernity, elegance and singularity. To achieve this, Boss Bottled plays to perfection on contrasts between relatively classic citrus freshness, a fruity and thoroughly modern apple-cinnamon heart, and ultra-sensual depths thanks to fiery spices and amber woody notes.

This fruity hot-cold contrast would prove to be one of the house's greatest successes, as Boss Bottled embodies a man of flamboyant success, certainly, but with more delicate and seductive facets. Year after year, Boss Bottled continued to fascinate men with contrasts that remained highly significant yet constantly renewed, so that every man could have his own Boss Bottled.
