Cedrus is the wood of the Atelier des Fleurs, the haute parfumerie collection Chloé opened in 2019 with six perfumers. Quentin Bisch placed in it the memory of a bouquet of branches his father had given his mother: cardamom, bergamot and pink peppercorns in the opening, rose and cassia at the center, a trio of cedar, vetiver and sandalwood in the base.
Marie Claire holds Cedrus to be a smoky, elegant woody, easy to approach without ever falling into the ordinary.

Hannah Baxter describes a lively, slightly spicy opening, cardamom, bergamot and pink peppercorns, before a warm heart of Bulgarian rose and cassia bark. The base of vetiver, sandalwood and cedar balances, in her view, the elegant and the smoky, the musky and the tender. She judges it very approachable, to the point of buying it without having smelled it, without its being ordinary for all that.
