At the top, the blackcurrant accord is brightened by mandarin, lemon and bergamot essential oils and lifted by a touch of black pepper. The heart brings together a trio of roses, including a May rose absolute, which the house describes as fruity and powdery.
The base pairs earthy, woody patchouli with Bourbon vanilla and musks. The notes are arranged here as follows: blackcurrant, mandarin, lemon, bergamot and black pepper at the top; rose in the heart; patchouli, vanilla and musk in the base.
What the label declares
After alcohol, fragrance and water, the list opens with benzyl salicylate and tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a woody, ambery molecule; vanillin, bergamot oil and patchouli oil confirm the place of vanilla, citrus and patchouli.
Lemon oil, rose ketones and rose oil appear further down. A UV filter and a stabilizer protect the liquid, which violet CI 60730 tints.
