An aromatic opening

Rosemary brings an aromatic register close to thyme and laurel. Pepper adds dry spices with a herbaceous accent. Petitgrain, drawn from the leaves of the orange tree, lends freshness, greenness and a sparkling quality, while bitter orange combines bitterness, a floral facet and a woody touch.

A heart of white flowers and iris

Neroli, distilled from orange blossom, retains an acidity reminiscent of bergamot. Iris is described by powder, butter and violet. Jasmine brings warmth, sugar and a wild accent, and ylang-ylang a fruity note, powder and a sheen evoking nail polish.

A base of wood and earth

Vetiver, a distilled root, offers wood, smoke and earth. Patchouli joins an earthy, damp facet to a camphoraceous accent. Sandalwood turns creamy and warm, while cedar evokes resin and pencil shavings.

The woody family reads through vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood and cedar, dry or creamy materials drawn from roots, leaves and trunks. The floral facet comes from neroli, iris, jasmine and ylang-ylang, gathered at the heart tier.

What the label declares

The list declares limonene, citral and linalool, common molecules found in citrus and orange blossom, echoing petitgrain and bitter orange. Alpha-isomethyl ionone has a violet scent close to iris; geraniol and citronellol belong to the rosy register, eugenol to clove, coumarin to hay.

Non-fragrant components

Alongside alcohol, water and fragrance, the label mentions benzyl salicylate, with a discreet scent, as well as ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, UV filters used to protect a formula from light.
