Where to buy
And this dream is reborn with every new bottle from the house, a dream that has moreover been rewarded most beautifully with Fifi Awards for Corsica Furiosa and Tabac Tabou. Once again in 2019, with Salute ! and Immortelle Corse, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato takes us into the Corsica that fuels his passion and creativity, but in a new tableau to better enchant us…
When Marc-Antoine Corticchiato tells us of the Corsica of sharing with Salute !
Scent is something very personal, which depends on one's past and culture, the perfumer and founder of the house Parfum d'Empire told Usine Nouvelle in 2017. And indeed, every bottle from the lovely house Parfum d'Empire tells a story, a story lived by the perfumer or a story within History, as with Ambre Russe and its leathers of a lost Russia.
There is therefore no chance at play in the scents of Parfum d'Empire's bottles, just as there is no desire to follow current fragrance trends, something this aesthete and poet of a perfumer flatly refuses. He proves it once again with Salute !, which is neither a gourmand fragrance nor a trend-driven one, but rather carries the taste of nature blended with the terroir of that magical Corsica which sheltered the perfumer's childhood as much as his present-day fragrant creations.
Salute ! is thus a tribute to Corsican soil but also to those people who share love and friendship over a glass of wine, who grow intoxicated by that still-wild nature and dream of an angels' share that is by turns angelic and fierce.
From the soil to the angels' share, Salute ! by Parfum d'Empire casts its spell
I love the bond with the land, with terroir and its energy, which the Corsican vineyard expresses. And I have always wanted to explore the affinity between wines and perfumes. Marc-Antoine Corticchiato on Salute !
And the perfumer knows his wine effluvia well, having breathed them in from a young age, when his grandfather aged wine in the sun in glass demijohns that held the precious nectar while letting a few honeyed, floral effluvia escape. Today, the perfumer no longer grows grapes; instead he cultivates fragrance, and it is with Salute ! that he pays tribute to this late grandfather and to those evenings of sharing that animate his memories.
Salute ! opens, against all expectation, with fresh, sparkling waves of citrus where lemon notes mingle with mandarin and grapefruit. Then we move a little further into the terroir through vine leaf notes, which blend their delicate green scent with those famous syrupy, sweet notes of wine lees. These notes, by turns woody and animalic, pair delightfully with even wilder musky depths, while delicate iris flower wraps it all in its powdery roundness.

Parisian presentation and documentary
Presentation of the collection at the Marie-Antoinette perfumery in Paris and the documentary Nez dans le maquis announced at launch.
The three L'Héritage Corse launches are presented at the Marie-Antoinette perfumery in Paris, in a photograph credited to Emmanuelle Varron. The French press reports that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato himself unveils the collection at this presentation, placed “last Thursday” relative to an article published in the fall of 2019.
At the time of launch, a documentary film titled Nez dans le maquis is announced, featuring Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, with a broadcast planned on Ushuaïa TV and TV5 Monde. This is a communication element rather than an advertising campaign for the fragrance; no advertising visual is documented.
