Rose

The plant-based raw materials used to make perfumes come from flowers, fruits and other plant matter such as wood barks (sandalwood, cinnamon, cedar, guaiac, birch), resin (myrrh, labdanum, benzoin, incense), mosses, plants, leaves, roots and seeds. Characteristics of rose essence

In perfumery, Centifolia rose and May rose are used. These roses, which belong to the floral family, come from Morocco and France. When roses are extracted using volatile solvents, the result is rose concrete and rose absolute, which give a sensation of warmth, honey, wax, spice and a touch of tobacco.
At the same time, it is the petals of Damascena roses grown in Bulgaria and Turkey that yield rose essential oil through distillation. This rose derivative gives off a fruit and fresh lemon scent that is more intense than the absolute, because most of its light compounds evaporate, whereas rose absolute retains the heaviest compounds, such as wax, through solvent extraction.
