Azure Lime was released in 2010 in Tom Ford's Private Blend collection, which classes it among citrus chypres. The house builds it on an infusion of lime backed by wild mint and South African buchu, followed by a green violet leaf and a base of Australian sandalwood and oakwood.

Azure Lime comes in the bottle common to the Private Blend collection, which Tom Ford compares to a chess piece: a volume of thick glass, with sharp angles, topped with a flat cap as wide as the body.
The only size available on the French market holds fifty milliliters. The launch also offered a two hundred fifty milliliter bottle, sold at roughly two and a half times the price of the smaller one.
