Tobacco Vanille, an eau de parfum from the Private Blend collection that Tom Ford launched in 2007, evokes a London gentlemen’s club steeped in spice. Olivier Gillotin, a Givaudan perfumer, pairs tobacco leaf, ginger and spices with tonka bean, vanilla and cocoa, over an accord of dried fruits enriched with sweet wood sap.
A bottle shaped like a chess piece, carefully carved and presented in a chocolate-brown box; from 10 to 250 ml.
The house compares the 50 and 100 ml bottles to a chess piece, whose sleek, architectural look they borrow. It describes them as carved with consummate craftsmanship, giving a monumental presence to a dressing table or a vanity.
A chocolate-brown box completes the presentation. The eau de parfum comes in 30, 50, 100 and 250 ml bottles, and in a 10 ml travel spray.
