Peonia Nobile reconstitutes a flower that cannot be distilled. Black pepper and raspberry open, the peony occupies the center with geranium, Turkish rose and freesia, an amber accord closes with patchouli and musk. Acqua di Parma launched it in 2016, the year of its centenary, the third installment of its Le Nobili collection.

From pepper to amber
Black pepper and a raspberry accord open the composition. The heart brings together the peony accord, Egyptian geranium, the freesia accord and Turkish rose. An amber accord, Indonesian patchouli and musk hold the base.
Three accords, not three raw materials
The house calls peony, raspberry and the amber note accords, without presenting them as raw materials. The admission holds for the title flower: it exists here only through reconstitution.
A classification that hesitates
The Le Nobili set carries Ambre Floral, the distributor label Floral Ambré, and Wikiparfum keeps only the floral family. The floral family therefore comes first: the peony is the declared subject, and the amber accord is no more than its base.
What the label declares
Twenty-one entries: alcohol, fragrance, water, the series of regulated allergens — citronellol, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, hydroxycitronellal, alpha-isomethyl ionone, geraniol, limonene, citral — three ultraviolet filters, two antioxidants and three colorants, one of them violet.
