Endymion

Endymion is the masculine eau de cologne Penhaligon’s released in 2003, named after Endymion, the most handsome of the sons of Zeus according to the house. This aromatic, spicy woody moves from bergamot, mandarin, lavender and sage to geranium and coffee, over a base of vetiver, spices, musk, leather, sandalwood, incense and myrrh.

Harrods and Sephora in the United Kingdom divide Endymion into three tiers: bergamot, mandarin, lavender and sage in the top; geranium and coffee absolute in the heart; vetiver, nutmeg, black pepper, cardamom, musk, leather, sandalwood, incense and myrrh in the base.

The house describes the fragrance as a sparkle of bergamot dancing over suede, coffee and geranium. Depending on the page, it highlights sage, coffee absolute and incense, or else lavandin, a coffee accord and cedarwood.
