Paradigme Le Parfum extends in 2026 the men's fragrance that Prada had launched a year earlier, pushing it toward greater intensity. The geranium remains, drawn this time toward the candied; a leathery vanilla is set against it; the balsamic base of Peru balsam, benzoin and guaiac wood is amplified by a material the house calls Amberever.
Prada presents this fragrance from base to top, and on Le Parfum the house does not name any top notes at all. The reading therefore begins with the base: Peru balsam, benzoin and guaiac wood. The first is vanillic and smoky, the second a sweet resin, the third a dry, almost tarry smoke. The three move in the same direction and occupy most of the sillage.
At the heart, the vanilla is described as leathery. The nuance matters: this is not the sweet, milky vanilla of gourmands, but a vanilla drawn toward tobacco and skin, darker, which naturally pairs with the benzoin in the base. It is this note that gives the fragrance its density.
The geranium accompanies it, and it is this note that signs the line. Prada describes it as reinvented with candied floral facets, where the 2025 eau de parfum doubled the material to draw out a green rose. Ordinary geranium in men's perfumery is green and minty; this one is sweetened. Laid over the leathery vanilla, it produces what the house calls a gourmand geranium.
The amplifier remains. Prada names Amberever as the material responsible for diffusion and longevity, and announces twelve hours. Fragrantica repeats it in the base. It does not appear in this page's pyramid, for lack of an entry in our raw materials nomenclature — but it is attested by the house and by the database, and naming it here is more honest than omitting it. A top bergamot also circulates, on a single source: it was not retained.
