Olympéa Parfum

Olympéa Parfum is the parfum version of Olympéa, the feminine fragrance Rabanne introduced in 2015. Anne Flipo and Paul Guerlain composed it as a green amber floral: pink pepper and clary sage at the top, jasmine, orange blossom and rose at the heart, vanilla, benzoin and musk at the base. The Olympéa bottle turns lacquered black here, beneath golden wings.

Rabanne sums up Olympéa Parfum in three notes: a vegetal accord at the top, jasmine absolute at the heart and vanilla bean at the base.

In detail, pink pepper and clary sage make up the top; jasmine, orange blossom and rose form the heart; vanilla, benzoin and musk hold the base.

The vegetal accord

The opening pairs the bite of pink pepper with the freshness of clary sage, which the house describes as a luminous vegetal accord. It is the new touch the house highlights in this version of the line.

The white bouquet

Jasmine absolute leads a bouquet of white flowers, with orange blossom and rose oil. The house blends this bouquet with the vegetal accord of the top and the vanilla of the base.

Vanilla

Vanilla bean, which Rabanne calls mysterious, holds the base with benzoin resinoid and musk. It gives the fragrance the amber warmth the house pairs with the white flowers and the green accord.
