Floratta Red Passion

O Boticário classes Floratta Red Passion among woody florientals and arranges its notes on three tiers: pear, mandarin and red fruits at the top; gardenia, jasmine, orange blossom, the Floratta Red DNA and an apple liqueur in the middle tier; sandalwood, amber and vanilla at the base.

The fruits

Pear, mandarin and red fruits open the composition. The house describes a bouquet more intense and more liqueur-like than that of Floratta Red, carried by the juiciness and sensuality of the Vermont apple, the fruit that already defined the original version.

The floral bouquet

Gardenia, jasmine and orange blossom form the white bouquet of the middle tier. The house adds what it calls the Floratta Red DNA, its olfactory signature, and an apple liqueur that gives the flowers their liqueur-like character.

The base

Sandalwood, amber and vanilla make up the base. The house sees in them enveloping nuances of creamy woods and all the warmth of amber notes, and calls the whole striking and ultra-sophisticated.

What the label declares

Denatured alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of two UV filters, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, a light stabilizer and three colorants, red 4, red 33 and yellow 5, which tint the juice.

The list also declares alpha-isomethyl ionone, benzyl salicylate, cinnamyl alcohol, coumarin, vanillin, patchouli oil, Virginia cedar oil, tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a synthetic wood note, and hexamethylindanopyran, a synthetic musk, out of thirty-six ingredients.
