A new installment in the Musc Collection, Neroli Essence is released in 2026 as an Eau de Parfum Intense. Sylvie Fischer wraps the house's musk heart in a Tunisian neroli and absolutes of orange blossom and mimosa. Floral and musky, luminous, the sillage rests on a base of sandalwood, cashmere wood, and tonka bean.
At the top, mandarin opens on a bright zest, without biting acidity, immediately tempered by a green tea that brings a dry, vegetal bitterness. Blue ginger, which the house describes as effervescent, gives this opening a brief lift. The opening is sharp and short: it announces the flower more than it lingers on it.
The heart is where the fragrance lives. Tunisian neroli and orange blossom absolute, both drawn from the bitter orange tree, answer each other without doubling up: the former green and bitter, the latter more honeyed. Mimosa deposits a soft powderiness there, and iris, mentioned by only two sources, a buttery coolness. The house's signature musk wraps around the whole without smothering it.
The base holds rather than concludes. Sandalwood and cashmere wood lay down a creamy woodiness, free of roughness, over which tonka bean leaves a sugared almond note. Ambrette, a vegetal musk absent from the house's discourse but noted by two sources, extends the musk of the heart without hardening it. The sillage, described as radiant, owes more to this continuity between heart and base than to any break.
