4711 Original Intense, launched in 2026, turns the most famous of all eaux de Cologne, which the house traces back to 1792, into an eau de parfum. Mäurer & Wirtz, the brand’s owner, raises the dose to 15% perfume oils and keeps the citrus and herbal signature: bergamot, lemon and petitgrain, lavender, sage, jasmine and neroli, over a new base of cedar, sandalwood and musk.
A clear glass bottle with rounded shoulders, dressed in a large dark turquoise label with gold ornaments and topped with a ridged gold cap.
4711 Original Intense takes up the brand’s livery in a darker shade, which Mäurer & Wirtz links to the fragrance’s greater intensity. The 100 ml bottle, in clear glass with rounded shoulders, bears a large dark turquoise label edged with gold ornaments.
The label displays, in gold lettering, the No. 4711 ribbon emblem, a sign of belonging to the eau de Cologne family, the words Since 1792, which the house wanted clearly visible, the name Original Intense and the Eau de Parfum designation. A ridged gold cap closes the neck.
The bottle is sold in a matching turquoise box, stamped with the same gold lettering and the No. 4711 emblem set in an oval.
