The Collection Extraordinaire by Van Cleef & Arpels brings together extraordinary fragrances, all of which are systematically inspired by nature. However, nature is showcased in its most beautiful expression here. The result is pure and highly accomplished fragrances. The Collection Extraordinaire reveals the exceptional expertise of the Van Cleef & Arpels house. The feminine fragrance Moonlight Rose does not escape this tradition. It is endowed with incredible precision, while unveiling a concentrate of emotion and poetry.
Van Cleef & Arpels magnifies rose like no other perfumer
As the name of this fragrance suggests, it is a rose-based composition. However, this flower is worked in a more precious way. There is therefore a real difference between this fragrance and all the other classic roses of perfumery. To achieve such a result, perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin combined two flower varieties: Bulgarian rose and Taif rose. The first is renowned for its suave, honeyed and gourmand breath. The second, more little-known, gives off a more spicy and singular scent. Moonlight Rose by Van Cleef & Arpels is a tribute to this rose, hand-harvested on the highest peaks of Saudi Arabia. The whole is also enhanced by peppery additions of geranium. Oakmoss and patchouli add more intensity. Finally, raspberry nuances the whole with its gourmand quality.

An elegant, luxurious and timeless bottle
Finally, to complete the whole, Moonlight Rose comes in a very refined bottle. This rectangular monolith is entirely lacquered in glossy black. It is also decorated with an embossed label bearing the perfumer's reference number for Van Cleef & Arpels. Its imposing cap, meanwhile, is encircled at its base by a small dark brown cord, itself attached to a metallic lozenge bearing the house's initials. The elegance is absolute.
