Since its founding in 1906, the house of Montblanc has reigned worldwide through the impeccable quality of its writing instruments. In recent years, however, it has chosen to expand its field of activity, also showcasing its expertise in creating watches, leather accessories and perfumes. It was in 2020 that Montblanc designed its first feminine fragrance, named Montblanc Signature. In 2023, it was reinterpreted in a second version. This perfume for women became Montblanc Signature Absolue.
It was in 2020 that the Montblanc brand decided to design its first feminine perfume, as the quintessence of its style and of all its refinement. It was named Montblanc and echoed the house's original world: writing. On screen, it was embodied by a successful author, Diane Ducret. In 2023, it was reinvented in a second feminine opus named Montblanc Signature Absolue. Described as more luxurious and sun-kissed, this fragrance also comes with an entirely new bottle, from which all the refinement of the house of Montblanc re-emerges.
Montblanc Signature Absolue, a bottle conceived as an inkwell
The bottle of Montblanc Signature Absolue is far more than a simple glass case. In truth, it is a dive into the brand's prestigious history, which began in 1906. For more than a century, Montblanc has been crafting extraordinary writing instruments, of a quality such that they are guaranteed for a lifetime. The bottle of Montblanc Signature Absolue echoes precisely this heritage. Designed by designer Mark Eisen, it takes the form of a small glass cube, whose shape resembles that of an inkwell. Its silhouette is nonetheless more or less elongated depending on the size chosen. Indeed, Montblanc Signature Absolue comes in three spray bottles of different sizes, in 30, 50 or 90 ml formats.
At Montblanc, every detail evokes writing
Naturally, every detail of this bottle is designed with extreme precision. Some of them evoke the famous Meisterstück pen, a true masterpiece of writing, created in 1924. Indeed, the golden color is a reference to this model. It does nothing but underscore the elegance of the object. The cap of this perfume is also adorned with Montblanc's emblematic six-pointed star. As a reminder, this logo is a nod to the six peaks of the Mont Blanc valley.
When the two shades of Montblanc Absolue are reversed
Finally, let us turn now to the coloring of this bottle. The 2020 Montblanc Absolue perfume clearly favored white and added a few golden elements to it. Here, these two color shades have been reversed. Gold dominates and white appears sparingly. Montblanc Signature Absolue comes in a case of clear glass, whose walls have been finely sculpted to play with light. As a result, golden reflections appear throughout this juice. It is also in this script that Montblanc's star and its name appear. Naturally, this is meant to evoke the radiance of this new perfume and its more sun-kissed character than before. Moreover, this only heightens its natural prestige. White, meanwhile, also embodies purity. It also refers to the immaculate color of the Mont Blanc valley. As one can see, behind the apparent simplicity of this glass case, this bottle conceals numerous symbols!
