Miami Shake

Miami Shake opens on wild strawberry, keeps for its heart a whipped cream, an ice cream cone and a touch of orange blossom, and rests on a vanilla absolute and a creamy musk. The house classes it among the creamy gourmands and calls it fruity.

Wild strawberry

The strawberry opens the composition. Romano Ricci wanted it wild, like Juliette, and the house describes it as juicy and sparkling, a forbidden treat that recalls the freshness of sun-ripened fruit.

Whipped cream and orange blossom

The heart reveals a rich whipped cream that adds a subtle, indulgent sweetness. The house pairs it with an ice cream cone and a floral touch of orange blossom, which it wants discreet, for a fruity scent that Romano Ricci calls as silky as whipped cream.

Vanilla and musk

The base brings together a vanilla absolute, which the house calls silky and warm, and a creamy musk. Juliette Has A Gun sums up the whole as a creamy wild strawberry accord resting on musk and vanilla, with a softness that begs to be bitten into.

What stays out

The ice cream cone in the heart stays out of the retained notes, distinct from ice cream. A list circulated in Europe adds peach at the top and, in the base, ambrox, a biscuit accord and milky notes: these materials, absent from the list the house publishes, stay out.

What the label declares

The ingredient list has twenty-three entries. After alcohol, fragrance and water come two UV filters, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, and regulated allergens, including coumarin, hydroxycitronellal, limonene, linalool, eugenol, isoeugenol and cinnamal.

The list also declares vanillin and a bitter orange peel oil, entered under the Latin name of the bitter orange tree, Citrus Aurantium, the tree that also gives orange blossom.
