Miami Shake

Miami Shake, an eau de parfum launched by Juliette Has A Gun in 2025, is the house’s first unabashed gourmand. Romano Ricci sets a wild strawberry over a heart of whipped cream, ice cream cone and orange blossom, and over a base of vanilla absolute and creamy musk, for an imaginary heroine who lives in a pastel villa in Miami.

Olya Bar sees Miami Shake as the house’s first true gourmand, playful and sophisticated, its slightly synthetic strawberry softening into a silky, musky vanilla.

What critics say

An unabashed gourmand

For Olya Bar, who reviews Miami Shake for ÇaFleureBon in August 2025, Romano Ricci here dares the decadence of a true gourmand, a bold departure for a house whose repertoire runs from the dark romance of Lady Vengeance to the playful exuberance of Pear Inc.

She finds the perfume as playful as it is sophisticated, a fantasy of a scent whose youthful side, which some will hold against it, seems to her intended from the start, like the diva imagined by the house.

From strawberry to vanilla

She describes an opening of candy-like strawberries, a heart of whipped cream that is rich without being heavy, lifted by a discreet orange blossom that brings elegance, and a base of silky, musky vanilla, neither shrill nor saccharine, in which she detects ambroxan and cashmeran.

The reservations

Olya Bar partly agrees with those who find the strawberry too synthetic or miss the promised ice cream note: on some skins, the opening strikes her as a little artificial.

Over time, she says, the perfume sheds these rough edges and evokes a strawberry daiquiri with floral nuances more than a simple milkshake. She recommends it to lovers of well-crafted gourmands, while admitting that some will find it too young.
