New Wave is the extrait de parfum that Merit launched on October 22, 2026, the brand’s second fragrance after Retrospect. Dominique Ropion and Meabh McCurtin open pink pepper and angelica onto orange blossom and ylang-ylang, above an amber base of benzoin, labdanum, olibanum, tobacco and vanilla.

New Wave takes up the molten pebble shape of the Retrospect bottle, with its thumb hollow, under a slightly different cap. According to the brand, this custom glass, designed after surrealist art, evokes the gentle movement of a wave.
In the Sephora visual, the golden juice fills a clear, rounded glass under a pebble-shaped silver cap. The extrait is sold in a 30 ml bottle.
