REPLICA Chasing Sunsets is a unisex eau de toilette by Maison Margiela, launched in February 2026 in the Replica collection and signed by four perfumers, Elise Bénat, Dora Baghriche, Coralie Spicher and Gabriela Chelariu. The memory of a sunset on Ipanema beach in 1965, this woody fruity moves from mango and cardamom to tuberose, over a base of sandalwood, vanilla and moss.
Maison Margiela divides Chasing Sunsets into three tiers: a mango accord and Guatemalan cardamom heart in the top; a tuberose accord in the heart; New Caledonian sandalwood heart, a vanilla accord and Crystal Moss in the base.
The house describes a woody fruity built on a tropical, juicy mango and on solar white flowers, resting on a creamy sandalwood and vanilla. Now Smell This, for its part, ranks it among fruity florals.
What the label declares
The list found at Space NK opens with alcohol, fragrance and water. It declares bitter orange peel oil, one UV filter, vanillin, santalol and regulated allergens, among them benzyl salicylate, linalool, limonene, citronellol and eugenol, as well as three colorants, yellow, orange and red.
