Chêne Minéral

Chêne Minéral is an eau de parfum by L’Occitane, launched as a limited edition for the 2026 holidays and composed by Fabrice Pellegrin, Coralie Spicher and Florian Gallo. A mineral woody scent inspired by Haute-Provence, it pairs sea salt at the top, oak chips in the central tier and ambrette at the base, with facets of fig.

L’Occitane divides Chêne Minéral into three notes: sea salt at the top, oak chips in the central tier, ambrette at the base. The house adds facets of fig and mineral notes that evoke a fresh, salty breeze.

Sea salt and oak

The house lends the sea salt the crystalline radiance of an iodized breeze. The oak chips bring, in its words, the depth of a freshly cut noble wood, which forms the center of the fragrance.

Ambrette

At the base, ambrette, a natural musk according to the house, brings a musky warmth with woody accents. L’Occitane makes it the anchor of this mineral woody scent, around which the facets of fig take shape.

What the label declares

The list has nine items. Behind denatured alcohol, fragrance and water come tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a synthetic wood, beta-caryophyllene, hydroxycitronellal, Virginia cedarwood oil, limonene and pinene.
