L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa, a perfume from the Eaux Rêvées by Sisley
In truth, Sisley's L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa is not a standalone perfume. It is one of the six compositions that make up the Eaux Rêvées by Sisley collection. All of these fragrances are invitations to step into the brand's very intimate world. Indeed, they are like poems inspired by a loved one, a memory or an anecdote from the d'Ornano family. L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa focuses more specifically on the founder of the brand. The result is a perfume resembling a spring bloom. With it, the dream has truly come to life. The result is a fragrance endowed with extraordinary sensitivity.
A perfume with a highly natural inspiration
Like all the Eaux Rêvées by Sisley, L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa portrays the image of an ideal and ambivalent nature. Indeed, Isabelle d'Ornano has always been deeply drawn to nature. As proof, she was one of the first cosmetics creators to take an interest in homeopathy, back in the 1970s. Her childhood in Spain allowed her to discover a whole blend of scents, particularly in the markets, combining numerous floral breaths with the more fiery warmth of spices. It is precisely this paradox that is also found in this unisex perfume.
Sisley's L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa, a vivid and warm perfume
L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa is essentially built around jasmine. This opulent flower is worked here in all its diversity. On one hand, jasmine unfolds its vividness and luminous brilliance. On the other, it is also more fiery and warm. The result is a highly contrasted essence, which only heightens its air of mystery. Sisley's L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa opens with a fresh scent of bergamot, quickly warmed by black pepper and pink pepper. Jasmine, for its part, amplifies its natural femininity through contact with rose. Nonetheless, the balance of this perfume is perfect, suiting both men and women alike. Its base is darker and woodier. Sisley's L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa closes with a trio of musk, oakmoss and patchouli.
Two talented artists behind the design of the Sisley bottle
To design its bottle, Sisley took no risks and turned to two Polish artists, both accustomed to working with the house. The bottle of L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa is the work of sculptor Bronislaw Krzysztof. For all the Eaux Rêvées by Sisley, it is a cylinder of clear glass topped with a cap shaped like a raw ice cube. Each of these fragrances is nonetheless distinguished by its own assigned color. L'Eau Rêvée d'Isa is associated with red. Its packaging, meanwhile, was painted by Elzbieta Radziwill.
