The house declares three notes: eucalyptus resin in the top, incense in the heart and ambergris in the base. It places the fragrance among the aromatics, and Daphné Bugey adds a rose, sandalwood and cypriol to this outline.

A freshness turned mineral

The eucalyptus resin opens the fragrance on its aromatic and resinous facets. Its freshness, denser than in the eau de parfum, takes a mineral turn, and the incense sets smoky reliefs against it.

A balsamic, carnal rose softens the incense. The perfumer says she sculpted this rose more sensual than in the eau de parfum, alongside an incense she wanted vibrant.

A woody, resinous base

The base brings together sandalwood, cypriol and ambergris in a woody, resinous accord. Cypriol lends it a dark, earthy texture, the sandalwoods a creamy softness, and ambergris closes the whole on a discreet light.

What the label declares

Denatured alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, an ambery wood, Juniperus virginiana oil, Virginia cedar, and a UV filter. Eucalyptus globulus oil comes early, with limonene, linalyl acetate and geraniol.

Atlas cedar oil, santalol, patchouli oil and sandalwood oil occupy the middle of the list, alongside rose oil. Oakmoss extract, camphor and menthol appear further down, ahead of two colorants and linalool, which closes the list.
